The Consequences Of Cheating On God From James

INTRODUCTION:
- People cheat on tests, people cheat on their taxes and people even cheat
on their mates.
- Cheating have devastating effects upon a person—
A person caught cheating on a test might be suspended from school.
A person caught cheating his taxes might have to pay a fine or go to
jail.
A person caught cheating on his mate might have his marriage end in
divorce.
- A person’s cheating ways will eventually catch up with him and we have
even coined a phrase to denote this, "Cheaters Never Win."
- Have you ever stopped to consider what happens to a person we tries to
cheat on God spiritually.
- James through inspiration makes us aware of ways that we can cheat on
God and the consequence of this course of action (cf.. Gal. 6:7)
