THE BIBLE CLASS AND YOU

A golden opportunity
Occurs here twice a week,
And those who will not hear its knock

The Book of God is opened wide,
And placed before our eyes,
That we might place it in our hearts
And by it be made wise.
So come and have a part with us,
And please do not be late.
Have your lesson in your hand
And then participate.
The passive student cannot learn

So read the Scriptures, fill the blanks,

Grace provided the plan by which sinners are saved, or made righteous, and grace tells us how to come into possession of that salvation. If people would quit arraying the commands of God against the grace of God, they would have a clearer vision of the scheme of redemption. God’s grace is in every command he gives. The sinner was lost; God prepared a way by which he could get out of that lost state. That was grace. But that was not enough. He needed to know how to find that way, and how to walk in it as it is to provide the way.
